The 2025 China International Maritime Technology Academic Conference and Exhibition was successfully held from December 2nd to 5th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, under the theme "Innovation and Collaboration for Sustainable Maritime Development." This year's event set a new record in scale, with exhibition space exceeding 110,000 square meters for the first time, attracting over 2,200 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions, solidifying its position as the world's largest maritime exhibition.

The exhibition focused on green, low-carbon, and smart innovations, featuring a dedicated Future Energy Zone for the first time to showcase green energy solutions such as hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol for ships. A milestone was achieved with the successful sea trial of China's first 5,500-horsepower nitrogen-powered harbor tugboat, along with the issuance of the classification society's first type approval certificate for such a product, marking significant progress in clean fuel applications.
